Do you have a WA state-issued ID card, Enhanced ID card, or your permit already, or had one issued when you were younger and it expired?

YES-Move onto Step 2 (you will need the number from your card issued previously).

NO- You will need to pre-apply at the Department of Licensing website and receive your permit/license number. (Your permit/license starts with WDL and 10 additional letters and numbers- see examples below)

STEP 3 - Register for Driver Education

TIPS- WE RECOMMEND NOT USING A SCHOOL EMAIL ADDRESS AS SOME OF THE DOCUMENTS WILL BE REJECTED BY SCHOOL DOMAINS. WE SUGGEST USING A PERSONAL EMAIL. Our registration packet is now sent via email with a request for signature. Please sign electronically. Once complete it will automatically send back to NDS. Please make sure you use an email address that is checked regularly as emails are sent regularly with drive schedules etc...
