Adult Safe Driving Course- 4 hr $400


Nelson Driving School, LLC offers a 4-hour safe driving course.  This course has been approved by the WA State Department of Licensing (DOL).  This course is for drivers whose license has been suspended or revoked and ordered by the DOL or courts to complete. NDS will report the completion of the course to the DOL and provide you with a copy of the completion certificate. The course will be offered in person and over live Zoom.  This option will be chosen during registration.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Excessive speed
  • Distracted driving
  • Aggressive driving
  • Fatigued driving
  • Passenger safety
  • Vulnerable road users
  • Hazards
  • Impaired driving


This course will end with a course final.  You must pass the final with an 80% or higher.

We offer 2 options.  a four-hour class or 2 two-hour classes.   For dates and times please start the registration process.  No payment is necessary to register.

Adult Classroom Refresher Course- 4 hr $325


This is a 4-hour course that provides a more in-depth overview of the WA State Driver Guide.   

This course is designed for those 18 years and older, needs a more in-depth class, and will focus on key points.   For those younger than 18 it does not replace driver education as you will still need to take and pass a DOL-approved teen course to obtain your driver's license before 18 years old. Adult Classroom Refresher Course- 2 hr $200


This is a fast-paced 2-hour course that provides a brief overview of the WA State Driver Guide.   This course is designed for those 18 years and older who need a brush-up before taking the WA State Knowledge exam or are having trouble passing it.  However, if it has been a while since you have taken driver education and are under the age of 18 years old this a great refresher course prior to taking your WA State Knowledge Exam.  For those younger than 18 it does not replace driver education as you will still need to take and pass a DOL-approved teen course to obtain your driver's license prior to 18 years old.
